 Our Mission is a simple one: God first, surrounded by family and friends. We use the power and simplicity from what God gave us in nature and proven skin care science to cleanse, soothe, hydrate, and protect your skin.  

 SugarLeaf Beauty was created because of a sincere concern I had about the harsh chemicals present in skin care products and the adverse effects of these chemicals on us, our children, and our planet.  I started paying attention to the ingredients that were listed on the labels of my previous skin care regimen and I was shocked that more than half of them I could not pronounce and after researching them found out they were man made chemicals!  In addition, the label advertising a great product on the front of the container, such as Shea Butter or Cocoa Butter, was clear down at the bottom of the list of ingredients, meaning it had very little of it in the product. This practice is very misleading to the consumer. As my concerns grew, I started studying aromatherapy and herbalism in college; determined to find a better way to give my skin the quality attention it needed to be healthy. As I studied the chemistry of herbs, aromatherapy, fats, and oils, I learned how the variations in their fatty acid composition would result in products with different characteristics. It is quite exciting. I am fascinated with the science of skin care. I developed my own skin care line for personal use to include a cleanser, toner, and moisturizer using all natural skin loving ingredients. My friends made comments on how hydrated and soft my skin looked and asked what I was using. After telling them I made the products myself, they asked me to make them some and that’s how we got started!
